Lynn’s Tuesday Picture Prompt Week 42 – Reblog FromCai(Art Mater)

It is very early on Thursday morning. In fact, it is April 1 – April Fool’s Day. And the weather is playing a bit of a cruel joke on us with minus temperatures and some light snow flurries. A big change from recent number of days that have pushed near 20 degrees C at times. Welcome to spring weather in Canada.

Moving to the point in hand, our first post for Week 42, comes from Cai(Art Mater).

A short paragraph on boat naming.

Lynn’s Tuesday Picture Prompt Week 37 – Reblog FromCai(Art Mater)

On a very early Thursday morning, I’m happy to announce I think spring is in the air in our neck of the woods.

Why and how do I know this?

First, spring allergies have slowly started to kick in. Two, we are consistently getting temperatures during the day that are above 0 degrees C and finally I’m seeing maple trees being tapped with lines or buckets to collect maple sap to boil down into the ever so sweet maple syrup.

Moving to point in hand, our third post for Week 37, comes from Cai(Art Mater).

An interesting, short paragraph on urban redevelopment or urban gentrification.

Be sure to check out Daydream of the Wooden Houses.

Lynn’s Tuesday Picture Prompt Week 36 – Reblog FromCai(Art Mater)

Not to hijack Cai’s post, but many around my circle of friends where reminded this week that loved ones can be here one minute and gone forever in a flash. A co-worker’s son was hit by a train and killed suddenly Sunday morning while out walking the family dog. There are no words to describe the grief the young lad’s Mom is going through.

But on a happier note, our second post for Week 36, comes from Cai(Art Mater).

An interesting, yet short two line poem on outdoor versus indoor.

Be sure to check out Outdoor Lights.

Lynn’s Tuesday Picture Prompt Week 34 – Reblog FromCai(Art Mater)

Once again, it’s a cold Thursday morning here at the “old homestead.” Not as bone-chilling as last week, but cold enough you’re going to take clear notice when you open the back door. But, they’re forecasting sunshine and warmer temperatures throughout the day. So, overall – not bad.

Our third post for Week 34, comes from Cai(Art Mater).

An interesting three line view of striving to survive.

It’s a cold Thursday morning here at the “old homestead.” On the other hand, it is forecasted to be very sunny, or hopefully the sun will offset those chilly temperatures.
