Aren’t their times in our lives when we should slow down or ultimately need to stop and reflect on things that were or things that might have been or should have been. Tough to change the past though.
But, I really do think sometimes we need to look back in order to move forward.
There are those times however, when reflection is simply sitting and relishing in the moment.
This was one of them.
Lynn captured this early evening shot from our campsite in the interior of Algonquin Park on a canoe trip we completed in the first week of August.
After having spent most of the afternoon dealing with Mother Nature who was quite upset and getting chased off the water twice by lightning on our way in…….this was the calm after the storm.
Algonquin Park never fails to deliver that one moment just when it’s needed……….never.
